SOURCE SPORTS: Toronto Raptors Release Kawhi Leonard Tribute Video Ahead of His Return

Kawhi Leonard is making his return to Toronto on Wednesday and the Raptors organization put together a tribute video after the amazing season The Claw gave them in 2018-2019. The Raptors released the tribute video ahead of the first-year Clippers Forward’s return to Scotiabank Arena.

From his introduction as a Raptor giving us the legendary quote, “I’m a fun guy” along with the Kawhi laugh, to his buzzer-beater against the Sixers to take the Raps to the Conference Finals, the lockdown defender in one season became one of the greatest Raptors players of all time. Kawhi led the Raptors to their first NBA title in team history before taking his talents to Los Angeles averaging 26 points per game last season.

Not only will Kawhi be honored with a tribute video, but the Finals MVP will also receive his championship ring Wednesday night. When asked about his return, according to The Athletic Leonard said “I’ll be thinking about just playing against the team and wanting to win the game, for the most part… We’re there for one reason: to play the Raptors and try to win the game.”
