Referees are often in very dangerous spots during football games, but the referee during the Quick Lane Bowl between the Eastern Michigan Eagles and the Pittsburgh Panthers got it really rough.
Near the end of the game, the action between the two teams got heated leading to Eastern Michigan QB Mike Glass III throwing a punch at a Panther but knocking a ref to the turf instead.
Glass would get tossed from the game and the Panthers would go on to win by the final score of 34-30. The ref, we guess he’s alright. On to the major bowl games this weekend.
