According to conformed reports, 9lokknine was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon over the weekend in Miami. According to Florida law, possessing and concealing an illegal firearm carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

The legal age to legally carry a concealed weapon in Florida is 21, but since 9lokknine, whose real name is Jacquavius Smith, is only 19, his concealed weapon is illegal.

The “Az-Za” emcee has been fighting off the law since May 2019, when he was arrested on 17 charges in Orlando, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana with the intent to sell.

Smith has since been released from Miami-Dade County’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center for the most recent charges, but will soon have to face these charges in court that could possibly carry extensive jail time.

9lokknine is best known for his street banger “Bakkwoods”, which was released last month as well as his “223s” track he shared with YNW Melly.
