Compound and New Era are tag-teaming for the Official NBA licensed Compound 7 Snapbacks with select NBA teams and their logos for NBA All-Star 2020.
The collection is headed by Set Free, the mind behind the Compound creative agency and the AND 1 Mixtapes. He began to wear the 7 signature hat years back and now will bring the number to his latest collaboration.
“The numerical integration is symbolic of the first and greatest creator of all art: God. The number 7 is more than a number. It represents spirituality, intuition, exploration, free thinking, and creativity,” said Free.
The licenses teams that will be on the side of the cap include the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Chicago Bulls. The Compound 7 Snapbacks will be available online starting February 7 with partial proceeds going to charitable organizations.
