Gatorade to Make GX Platform Available to All Athletes, Announces BOLT24

Gatorade is letting athletes find out more about their bodies and what they will need to keep going through the innovation of the GX Platform and GX Sweat Patch.

The new technology comes after 50 years of research to the best athletes in the world. The Gatorade GX platform will now allow athletes across the globe to have access to the same personalized sports nutrition recommendations that Gatorade provides to professional athletes. The platform provides an analysis of an athlete through their sweat, which is captured in the GX Sweat Patch and returns personalized sports nutrition recommendations for performance. The GX Sweat Patch is a personalized tool that will provide real-time updates to adjust their hydration strategy and has been tested with members of professional and collegiate teams in conjunction with the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI). For the first time ever the GX Sweat Patch will be available to consumers in the second half of 2020.

In addition to the launch of the GX Sweat Patch is BOLT24, a new off-the-field hydrator with ingredients like antioxidants, which will keep athletes prepared in between games. BOLT24 has advanced hydration and no artificial sweeteners or flavors. BOLT24 provides electrolytes from watermelon and sea salt, as well as 100% of the daily value of antioxidant vitamins A and C, and vitamins B3, B5, and B6. It is available in Tropical Mango, Mixed Berry, and Watermelon Strawberry. It is currently available at select retailers nationwide and online at Amazon.com
