A man in Washington state has been the first confirmed death in the United States to be associated with the coronavirus. Health officials state that the man was in his 50s, reports KIRO 7-TV. The second death was a man of King County, Washington in his 70s. Both men died at EvergreenHealth Medical Center.

Soon after the declaration of the Washington passing, Donald Trump held a White House news gathering to report that the United States is giving more travel limitations and admonitions to help forestall the spread of the infection. He additionally said he is meeting with pharmaceutical officials to talk about work toward a coronavirus vaccine.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state and local health authorities, 86,500 cases have been confirmed universally. 2,976 of those confirmations have resulted in the death of the patient. 2,870 were in China. The US has confirmed 74 cases of the coronavirus.

A few of those cases are accepted to have been spread individual-to-individual, creating a new term used by medical examiners called, “community spread.” When a virus begins to circulate within a local community, leaving the source of the infection unclear, is called a community spread.

Health officer for Seattle and King County, Washington, Dr. Jeffrey Duchin told sources  “We’re in the process of investigating this situation as an outbreak.” The Health Care Center released an announcement, stating that they are not permitting visits from families, volunteers or merchants, and visits have been required to briefly wait until further notice.
