British actor and dj, Idris Elba has just confirmed that he has tested positive for coronavirus.
He took to social media to tell friends, family, and fans about his diagnosis:
“This morning I tested positive for Covid 19,” he tweeted. “I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.”
He goes on to say that he is feeling okay and currently has no symptoms. He let everyone know that since he found out that he might have been exposed to the virus, he has been in isolation.
The global outbreak of the coronavirus (aka COVID-19) has made nearly 170,000 people sick, and leaving more than 6,500 dead, with thousands of new cases confirmed each day. While American infections are inching close to 4,000, the death toll has climbed to 64.
