In an interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News, President Trump criticized Gov. Cuomo of New York, saying that his request for 30,000 ventilators in order to properly rake care of the influx of Coronavirus cases.

Trump went on to say, “When you talk about ventilators, that’s sort of like buying a car. It’s very expensive. It’s a very intricate piece of equipment. . . . The good ones are very, very expensive.”

New York City is currently the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States, with data from John Hopkins University stating that over half of the cases in the country are in NYC.
