Nova Loosecanon (Henson H. Pierre) is a musical artist and rapper based in Boynton Beach, Florida. Born on April 20th 2000, Nova began listening to music at a young age and quickly became a fan of the likes of Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, OutKast, and other artists and rappers who were beginning to make names for themselves in the early 2000’s.
As a young child, Nova would frequently battle his friends on the grounds of Carver Middle School in Delray Beach, and his rhymes would always lead him to victory. For Nova, nothing was more important than getting onto the street and proclaiming his mastery. With a troubled home-life, Nova new that he had to keep his drams of becoming a rapper alive.
At the age of 13, he started recording professionally in the studio and released a number of hit singles, including Money Freestyle, DvG, Moon Rock, and more. From there, he even released an early project titled, Paper Chase. This 12-song project received attention throughout the streets of Palm Beach County and was distributed throughout communities simply through word of mouth.
In the months and years following the release of his project, Nova began to tour and play locally around the cities of Miami, Tampa, Naples, and Orlando. Without a manager or a label behind him, Nova continued on his journey to create opportunities all on his own. It wasn’t until 2019, when Nova was noticed by a young CEO named Freezzy Brickz. From there, Nova was signed to his first label, Sky Burg Records.
Today, Nova Loosecanon continues to write and record songs for his first LP to be released on Sky Burg. Keep an eye out for Nova’s new release due out in 2020. Nova plans to tour the US and hit a number of major cities to support the release of his new album.
