Boris Beltran aka “Bebe” is lighting the fire in the streets with his single, “Violence.” It went viral on YouTube in record time. This Bronx native is making strides in a game saturated with rappers who don’t quite understand that his music is a testament to his survival of a world he left behind. His scars are framed in every bar, in every note that spills into a verse that he birthed, “Violence.”
“Bebe” has that drill Bronx sound stamped in the delivery of his lyrics. He gives a lyrical testimony of the lifestyle he lived before turning his life around. “In this song, I am coming at a lot of the people who have tested my chin. I would listen to their music. They would throw shots at me and now, instead of actual violence, I respond back through my lyrics because there is a bigger war going on outside.”
