God is Dope Clothing Brand Raises $25,000 for Family of George Floyd

An Atlanta based clothing brand ran a 24-hour sale on Thursday where 100 percent of the proceeds would be donated to the family of George Floyd, the man killed by police in Minneapolis. God is Dope clothing has sold $25,000 worth of merchandise which will all go to the Official George Floyd Memorial Fund.

“We have the best customers in the world!! When we all come together as a people we can do anything,” the company posted from it’s Instagram account. “So glad we can use our platform to help. Thank you to all our customers all over the world. You guys did this! This is only the start.”

The $25,000 donation made God is Dope the top donor to the George Floyd Memorial Fund. The company posted the screenshot of their donation to provide full transparency to its customers.

As of this article the family of the deceased have raised more than $3 million dollars on their GoFundMe account with 126,000 different donors. The target goal was $1.5 million.
