The Carolinas is becoming a breeding ground for Hip-Hop, for such artist like J.Cole and Dababy plus a couple of others. I want to aim the attention at Raleigh NC, and talk about an artist that’s already making an impact and a name for himself in his own city.
YJB Mega, a new comer to the Carolina music scene. He resides in the south side area of Raleigh NC. The 17-year-old artist is not a new a comer to rough streets of the south side plus having to grow up quick to survive life trials handed to him at an early age.
It’s definitely safe to say that he has created his own vocal marinade, that’s ready to take the Carolinas by storm. Also on social media, I notice a picture with a caption that confirmed YJB Mega inked a deal with NC Independent powerhouse Hazardous Records’ DY-Nasty and his partner “R”, which they also own the cities biggest FM radio station, Hot 97.9 Fm. That was a great alley-oop chess move for the young star. His 1st release through the Hazardous imprint is titled “Coach Carter” the anthem has already hit the streets hard and making a social media trend.
His debut EP titled “Undisputeda’ hosted by the legendary Hood Rich Dj Scream is already set for a mid September release that will be distributed by Hazardous/Ingrooves/Universal. The future looks promising for young YJB Mega, we can only hope that he will go the distance.
