Santa Ana rapper Kay Nine Tha Boss is one of today’s most well-seasoned artists. Having overcome incarceration and a pessimistic view on life, he turned to music to express himself and his struggles as he worked through them. His organic passion for the music industry quickly led him to collaborative efforts with artists like Mozzy, Ice-T, Kokane, Jayo Felony, Spider Loc, X-Raided, Butch Cassidy, Tash (Tha Alkaholiks) & many more. By independently releasing his debut album “Reality Check” in 2010 which was quickly followed by “The Backstreets” in 2011, Kay Nine set up a foundation for his widely successful single “On the Set” in 2013. The single played a fundamental role in the creation of his fan base. Kay Nine went on to becoming a featured artist in the XXL Freshman 2015 magazine. In May of 2019 he signed his first distribution deal with west coast rap legend Spice 1 and label Thug World Music Group through Sony Orchard. His recently released singles include “No Cap” featuring Q Bosilini as well as “King Me” featuring Spice 1, “Lil Bihh” featuring X-Raided, “Nothin” featuring Mozzy & Frost4Eva as well as his solo hit “Let me See Sum”.
