Fenzrir’s most recently released project, SunEater, is a nine-track long project with a 20-minute runtime that explores sonics of metal, rap, and rock music. With a voice that could be compared to Corey Taylor attempting hip-hop, Fenzrir’s blending of his unique cadence with metal-infused production creates feelings of angst and rage in his music. The young artist shares, “Rage is a powerful tool and, if used correctly, you can keep moving forward.”
Recently signed to Bentley Records in New York, Fenzrir is now in the middle of production for his upcoming EP. The lead single exemplifies the genre-bending style that Fenzrir is truly capable of. Self-describing his music as being Viking inspired, Fenzrir refracts hip-hop and metal against each other to create brand new soundscapes in hip-hop. His highly anticipated follow up to Sun Eater has not yet been given a title or release date. Still, fans and critics alike will be intensely awaiting the project’s release to see how Fenzrir evolves his genre-defining sound.
