Successful music largely reveals real life, and this pattern is being followed by young artist Zeelix. This Canadian native with Jamaican roots began his journey predominantly rapping and has since moved into a more R&B and rap genre over the past couple of years as he establishes himself in the industry. His newest single “Ties” is set to release soon.
Zeelix spoke to the impact of his life on where he is and the music he makes saying, “I can truly say hard times made me who I am today” and “when something challenging happened in my life, I focused on how it is making and has made, me a stronger person. I have healed, and continue to heal, through the music I make.” His new single “Ties” is pondering on betrayal and the desire for people to show their true colors. In Zeelix’s words, “there are too many secrets in the world to hide who you truly are.”
