The Lakers are losing more players to the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
Los Angeles placed guards Russell Westbrook and Avery Bradley into the league’s COVID-19 protocols on Thursday. With those additions, the team now has five players sidelined on the list. Westbrook headlines the group as he’s the team’s third-leading scorer at 19.6 points per game.
ESPN reports the Lakers plan to sign free agent guard Isaiah Thomas to a 10-day contract if they are granted a hardship exemption by the NBA.
