New York rapper Itsgreg.s is gearing up for his moment to shine. From the release of his first single, “Harder Then Ever” and “After Party,” which has since reached the milestone on Spotify, he’s branched out with a slew of equally promising records that have fans on the edge of their seats for his debut project. Two months ago he came through with a brand new single titled, “Yolo” The rapper takes it back to the stomping grounds of his upbringing and things he saw growing up in the hood.
“This record allowed me to reach back and reconnect with where I came from and where I’m going,” Itsgreg.s said. “Harder Then Ever’ is a salute to my neighborhood and a reflection of the fact that I am simply just a product of my environment and my voice is just an instrument of the streets. There are things I can speak on, but I’d rather tell the story through my music.”
Itsgreg.s seems to have appeared out of nowhere. The Indian rapper began making music in 2014, yet he is already one of the biggest stars to emerge from the scene. His breakout single “Die a Legend” has already hit an astonishing two streams on Spotify. “Itsgreg.s” may offer nothing new content-wise, but it does not need to. The song is catchy and addictive, with references to trap music today.
