Reese Raw Banga was born and raised on the Southwest side of Philadelphia, PA. Reese was raised by his grandmother Fannie Wilson, affectionately called “G-mizz”. He had a guardian angel watching over him, someone who would play an instrumental role in helping him steer clear of a neighborhood overrun with crimes and violence.
As a teen, Reese was determined to make it out and break the tense realities that surrounded him. To do so, he decided to create music as his vehicle to achieve fame and success.
Reese was always told when he was young, “Do what you love doing and love what you do.” This got him focused more on the arts and how instruments were a universal language that could be appreciated anywhere.
Reese always knew he loved music, so when it came time to forge a career, he did everything he could to make it happen. He was on the verge of realizing his dream of becoming a musician while serving as a certified chef, but there was one day in particular where he just knew then and there that he had to do what it took to turn his passion into reality.
Reese really respects music and business talents of Jay Z, Birdman, and Marion “Suge” Knight. Reese admires that Jay Z and Birdman in particular were able to develop incredibly talented artists from nearly scratch and eventually parlayed their successful careers into lucrative and influential record labels.
The two moguls managed to stay relevant in different eras due to their ability to reinvent themselves time and time again without compromising who they are at the core.
Reese’s first single was released from Black Ink Management & Music Group (BIMMG), which debuted in August of 2021. The song was titled “Carry It,” and it was produced by Pantherbred. The video for the single was created and directed by Dwayne Stevenson of Twelve 29 Productions. The music video for the song ended up getting over 100,000 views on YouTube.
In addition to that, Reese also released the single titled “Twenty1” in January of 2022 which was additionally produced by Pantherbred. The visual for the single was also directed by Stevenson. The song had garnered nearly 187k views at the time of writing.
Reese’s goal as a musician is to make it big. He’d love to break records that are being set today by other legends in the music industry. Ultimately, he would like his music to be enjoyed by many generations to come and provide wealth for him and his family.
Reese is also working on another project titled ‘Intuition’, which is going to be released in the last quarter of 2022. BIMMG and Reese plan to take what they’ve learned from past experiences and apply it to their future endeavors.

Reese Raw Banga has just released a new LP from The Ampliphied Tribe titled ‘Cognition’. The concept of the project is about how we perceive the world around us through social experiences and struggles in life.
