Aaron Rodgers has released his first public statement since suffering a torn Achilles during the opening Monday Night Football game of the year. Taking to Instagram, Rodgers stated he was heartbroken.
“I’m completely heartbroken and moving through all of the emotions, but deeply touched and humbled by the support and love,” Rodgers wrote. “Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I begin the healing process today.”
He added, “The night is darkest before the dawn. And I shall rise yet again.”
