Reebok is making a major return to performance basketball with the launch of the Engine A, a high-performance sneaker designed for today’s dynamic game. Set for a February 13, 2025 release in the debut Silver colorway, the Engine A has already been spotted on top basketball talents, including WNBA All-Star Angel Reese.
High school phenom Nate Ament praised the sneaker’s design and performance, stating, “A locked-in fit, great bounce and ample traction for quick moves, plus a look and design like no other. I’m excited to see it on the feet of hoopers of all levels.”
“The launch of the Reebok Engine A is a monumental moment for the brand as we reclaim our stance on the court and within basketball culture,” says Todd Krinsky, Reebok CEO. “The Engine A embodies all that Reebok stands for: top performance innovation, fearless risk-taking design and a continued commitment to deliver the best product possible to the athletes who are changing the game.”
The Engine A will be introduced through Reebok’s Team RBK.B, a growing roster of professional, college, and high school athletes committed to individuality and innovation. The current lineup features Matas Buzelis, the first men’s pro player to wear the Engine A on court, along with Angel Reese, Lexie Brown, Nate Ament, and rising star Dink Pate. More athletes are expected to join in the coming weeks.
The Engine A – Silver will retail for $120 USD on Reebok.com worldwide, with additional colorways dropping throughout the season.
