Ohio-based music collective The Council 2432 continues to solidify its rising star status with a standout performance at the massive Redneck Rave festival in Sophia, West Virginia. Performing before a crowd of over 10,000, The Council 2432 set the stage ablaze with their fan-favorite single “I Know U Smell It”—a moment that sent the crowd into a frenzy as the beat dropped.
The Redneck Rave lineup featured headliners Jesse Howard of Outlaw Nation, Memphis rap icon Lil WYTE, and viral country rap artist Who TF is Justin Time?, known for hits like “Down and Out” and “I Don’t Know.” Yet, it was The Council 2432 that captured the audience’s energy, marking a major milestone in their journey since releasing their debut LP, A Dose of Reality, earlier this year under Dominion Hill Records / Roc Nation Distribution.
Led by members Mall Black, Matthew Cooper, Manny Divine, Jag Da Apostle, and Zach Wright, The Council 2432 is a multicultural fusion of artists and producers whose genre-defying style and grassroots mentality are rapidly reshaping the independent music scene. Known for their loyalty to the Ohio Valley, their unapologetic embrace of legal cannabis culture, and their mantra “We All Eat,” the group has struck a resonant chord with fans nationwide.
Next, The Council 2432 will bring their high-octane performance to the “Rise Up” Flood Relief Music Benefit on July 5th in Wheeling, West Virginia. 100% of the proceeds from the benefit will go to Appalachian Outreach, providing critical assistance to families impacted by recent flooding throughout the Tri-State area.
Looking ahead, The Council 2432 is also rumored to headline an exclusive block concert in Queens, New York in early August in collaboration with Dominion Hill Records and partners.
