Leaked Young Thug Jail Calls Target Gunna, Migos, and Quality Control

It feels like every audio file from Young Thug’s jail calls has been released on the net. The leaks have shared some intriguing revelations into the mind and business of key Atlanta figures, mostly surrounding the YSL trial and whether Gunna snitched or not.

While none of the leaked calls have been confirmed or claimed by Young Thug, they are making the rounds, one of which takes aim at Quality Control Records and its CEO, Pierre “P” Thomas.

In one call, Thug seemingly shades Migos. “The people are only buying your label because of Wham [Lil Baby],” Thug said. “They’re not buying your label because of no motherf—ing Migos. Them n—as in the red, them n—as ain’t making no munyun.”

Additionally, Young Thug is heard in a call spending $50,000 on fake streams to make sure Gunna’s DS4ever album would hit the No. 1 spot over The Weeknd’s Dawn FM. The conversation came as Thug discussed a new deal with Gunna at the time worth $20 million and a bit of humbling to Gunna’s performance.

“You’re not doing numbers like that. You all right, but you ain’t doing it like that. You know? Like, the number one album you just had right now, I paid for you to have the number one album. You didn’t honestly earn a number one album over The Weeknd, my boy. I paid for that shit. Never said anything to him. I never told him that, you know, because I just got. I just we just got the plug on it. Like, you never earned a number one ever. I spent 50 extra grand buy a motherfucking stream 50,000 buying strings for you. for you to be me.”

Another conversation between Young Thug and 21 Savage sheds light on Gunna taking the Alford Plea. According to Thugger, Gunna told his attorney, Brian Steel, he would write a statement of support but didn’t show up and continued to ignore requests. Additionally, Young Thug thought about dropping his Business is Business album on the same day as a Gift & a Curse to step on its performance. They would eventually drop in back to back weeks.

Thug and Savage also spoke how rappers like Lil Baby “jumped the gun” by dissing Gunna. You can hear it below.
