adidas and Patrick Mahomes Unveil “Too Cold” Texas Tech Uniform for 2025 Season

adidas and Patrick Mahomes have unveiled the “Too Cold” Texas Tech football uniform, marking the second time the Red Raiders will wear on-field gear featuring the superstar quarterback’s signature Gladiator logo. It remains one of the rare examples of an athlete’s personal brand integrated into official college football uniforms.

The collaboration, launched in 2024 between adidas, Texas Tech, and the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, continues to push boundaries in athlete partnerships and collegiate sports branding. The “Too Cold” look pays homage to the Red Raiders’ tradition while elevating the design with bold details.

The crisp white uniform features Texas Tech’s iconic power red accents, galvanized metallic-style numbers, and Mahomes’ Gladiator logo prominently displayed on the chest. Inside the neck collar, “Mahomes” is scripted as a nod to the school’s most famous football alum.

The Red Raiders will debut the uniforms during their November 8 home matchup against BYU, a game with potential Big 12 conference implications. The night will also mark the program’s first official white-out game in seven seasons, with Mahomes himself expected to attend.

Fans can purchase the “Too Cold” uniform beginning today at adidas.com, bringing the exclusive collaboration from the field to their own collections.
