Young Thug’s newest gets a face-lift
Wale‘s been pretty dormant, musically. His name has been heavily circulated through rap blogs and social media for his rants against Complex Magazine, among other things, but as far as music, since his third album (first to debut at #1) was released in late June, Folarin’s been pretty quiet. Today, he gets back into the swing of things for 2014 hooking up with probably one of the hottest artists in rap right now, Young Thug, for a remix to Thug’s latest single, “Stoner”, produced by Dun Deal. The track, which was premiered by DJ Drama’s internet homestead, features the original “Stoner” tune, and the addition of 16+ bars from Wale, who delivers one of the better verses we’ve heard from him in quite some time, at least since the summer.
