Miguel‘s Wildheart album was released earlier this year, featuring very few contributions from outsiders; only Kurupt and Lenny Kravitz made guest appearances on the set, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200.
So, it’s only right that the “Coffee” singer, who has collaborated so seamlessly with rappers in the past (J. Cole, Wale, Kendrick Lamar), grabs 2015’s hottest, Future, for a remix of a Wildheart standout, “Simple Things.” The song, which the L.A. native dubbed “Simple Things re-lit,” also features Chris Brown, which marks the first time Brown and Miguel, two of today’s pre-eminent contemporary R&B stars, have linked up on wax.
