Malicious Mayweather?
Floyd Mayweather has been as controversial as ever this year, dating back to his infamous Memorial Day Weekend “brawl” with T.I. in Las Vegas over T.I.’s wife Tiny, his on-and-off relationship with 50 Cent, and his reading “scandal”, initiated by Power 105.1’s Charlamagne The God.
Last week, 29 year old Shantel Jackson, Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend, announced that she was suing the undefeated boxer for several reasons, including the fact that he choked her, held her at gunpoint, stole her $2.5 million ring, and threatened to expose naked photos of her. This information comes from a DailyMail report on the court documents, which find Jackson claiming that Mayweather kept her prisoner in his Vegas home, and physically assaulted her during some of their many heated arguments. Officially, Jackson is accused of battering and blackmailing his ex-girlfriend. We’ll have more details as they become available.
In the meantime, Mayweather is prepping for another fight against Marcos Maidana, which is going down this Saturday night.
