Following more than 1,100 global submissions and a curation by the Chaotic Bastards for the first-ever Green Label Gallery in Amsterdam this August, the crowd sourced urban art exhibition has come to Brooklyn.
Beginning today, Brooklyn-based designer, illustrator and typographer Kevin Lyons will curate Instagram submissions with #GreenLabelGallery to be featured at the Brooklyn Dew Tour, September 20 – 21 at the House of Vans (open to the public). Chosen artwork from digital art and photos to imaginative sketches will be printed on a gallery-quality printer – the HP Designjet Z6200 – and hung as a vibrant, anthemic display of youth culture and emerging artistic spirit.
This event marks another collision between Mountain Dew and urban art the weekend of September 20 will be as the official and exclusive presenter of The Chocolate Skateboard Company’s 20 Anniversary Exhibition at Sideshow Gallery, 319 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn where Kevin Lyons is also a co-host.
