Travi$ Scott Announces ‘Rodeo’ Tour, Drops 2 New Songs f/ PARTYNEXTDOOR, Young Thug & Future

2015 is off to a great start for La Flame

For the first half of last year, Travi$ Scott seemed to be fading a bit into the background. His mixtape, Owl Pharaoh, failed to spawn even a mild hit, and despite his dominant performance on G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer album and crafting probably the best song on Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail album, the engine of his own solo career appeared to be sputtering.

Then, randomly, in August, Kanye West tweeted the link to Days Before Rodeo, Scott’s second official release, and 2014’s best mixtape (though it plays like a free album). Since then, La Flame has caught fire–pun intended–and he’s pushing full steam ahead to his proper debut album, Rodeo, which will be released on Epic Records this year. In preparation, Scott has announced The Rodeo Tour, on which he’ll be joined by two of his best co-conspirators–Young Thug, Metro Boomin–for a nationwide parade beginning in March. In addition to that, he’s released two new songs. “Nothing But Net” featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR & Young Thug and “High Fashion” featuring Future. No word yet as to whether or not either of these songs will appear on Rodeo–probably not–but you can listen to them below, then check out the official Rodeo Tour announcement.
