The Chi-town connection is finally here
Vic Mensa has been seen just about everywhere with Kanye West since the day Ye unveiled his Adidas Yeezy line in New York City back in February. It was during that presentation that Kanye previewed the first track off his forthcoming So Help Me God album, “Wolves,” which featured both Mensa and “Chandelier” singer SIA.
Since then, if they aren’t performing live on Saturday Night Live‘s 40-year celebration, Mensa and West are at Q-Tip‘s house working on music, or performing for sold-out crowds in London alongside some other rap elites (Pusha T, Big Sean).
Over the weekend, low quality clips of Vic previewing his verse on an upcoming collaboration with Kanye, “U Mad,” made their rounds around the internet, and rumors of the song dropping sooner than later began to circulate. Kudos to the rumors, because here we have it. Listen to “U Mad” below.
