After much anticipation, Chicago Drill rapper G Herbo and Pro Era’s Joey Bada$$ have finally released the visual for their collaborative single, “Lord Knows.”
As they travel through their neighborhoods before turning up inside a church, the duo exchange unwavering hard hitting bars —”Got some problem only Lord knows, sometimes I need a break but I got more shows,” Herb spits—over a head-bobbing Metro Boomin production.
The unlikely duo joined forces on the Red Bull Sound Select’s 30 Days In LA showcase last November, where the two young rappers, both signed to the Cinematic Music Group label, created their new collaborative effort. “Me and Joey are on a whole other level of rap music for the young ni**as right now,” Herbo stated in an interview with Fader. “We are both from different worlds almost, but we connect together on an artist level. We bring our different styles together and create good music.”
The chemistry between G Herbo and Joey Bada$$ is undeniable so hopefully there are more collaborative songs in the works. Check out their new Slick Jackson-directed visual above.
