Kanye West says he’s releasing his new album, Turbo Grafx 16, this summer, and it may have seemed like just another random Yeezy Twitter rant to some, but he appears to be very serious. He was spotted in the studio with Mike Dean not long after the release of The Life of Pablo, his recently updated 7th studio album, and more recently, it appears he got some of today’s most buzzed about young artists together to do some more work on the forthcoming LP.
Quavo of the Migos posted this picture to his Instagram account last night, of him, Offset (also of the Migos), young Atlanta upstart Lil Yachty, Big Sean, Tyler The Creator and Kanye posing in front of a sign that read Turbo Grafx 16, meaning they were all likely together working on Ye’s new music. Naturally, Ye and Tyler were the ones creeping their faces into the photo from behind a wall.
Though Yachty and Migos don’t appear on the surface to be likely Kanye collaborators, remember that Kanye featured Young Thug on his album, and is rumored to have several Young Thug collaborations in the stash. We’ll see what happens with this.
