Post Malone is still friends with Justin Bieber, that whole choking out one of the biggest pop stars in the country thing was just two bros being bros. False alarm.
This, however, is not a false alarm. Post Malone will soon be releasing his yet-to-be-titled official debut project, featuring a quite-red-in-the-face Post engrossed in an inferno of sorts. It’s quite the aesthetic treat.
Despite his immense early success–“White Iverson” has been certified platinum, he’s currently the opening act for Justin Bieber’s Purpose arena tour–Post didn’t have a signature album or mixtape to call his own, but that’s all about to change. (Imagine appearing on Kanye West‘s new album before you even start a discography.) Today, Post gave Beats1 Radio’s Zane Lowe the green light to drop a new single, “Go Flex,” as today’s “World Record,” the first tease of what to expect from this forthcoming album.
Listen below, as Malone’s oddly melodic voice and Rex Kudo and Charlie Handsom‘s multi-layered–guitar strings drive it, a polyphonic bass line amplifies it–production help him “Go Flex.”
