Since shocking the world and earning a Grammy nomination for his breakthrough “Crank Dat” single, Soulja Boy has been beating the odds. However, judging by the news he recently revealed on his Twitter account, he didn’t just beat the odds. He obliterated them. How else would you characterize scoring a $400 deal of some sort, while CBS and Forbes fight over the right to exclusively cover it? Yeah, obliterated. Allow SB himself to explain the situation.
$400 million deal confirmed. I still they think they low balled me though. I was thinking 2 or 3 billion..

Soulja didn’t, on Twitter or Instagram, reveal any further details about his deal, but he’s no stranger to the business of Hip Hop. Soulja currently heads up production and clothing companies, and is a close affiliate of Birdman‘s, who of course founded, and currently runs, one of the most successful rap labels in music history. We’ll be on the lookout in the coming days for more details on Soulja’s whopping new deal.
