Young Thug‘s project roll-outs have been anything but. Generally, the unpredictable Atlanta rapper teases some clips of unreleased music on Snapchat before suddenly releasing a mixtape to a digital retailer. His last project, Slime Season 3, had the closest thing to a roll-out, as Thug teased the album’s first track at Kanye West‘s The Life of Pablo listening, then formally released one of its singles, “Digits,” on Beats1 Radio.

This time around, Thug has deliberately made his fans very aware of his next mixtape release, Jeffrey. Thugger has captioned tons of Instagram photos with the mixtape title–his first name–and has teased, as is customary, music off the project in brief snippets. Today, Thug took to his Snapchat to unveil Jeffrey‘s release date, which is coming up in less than 2 weeks: August 16. Thug’s unpredictable release schedule continues this summer, as he’s also believed to have another mixtape, I Came From Nothing 4, and a proper debut album–which will likely be a moot point by the time it drops–Hy!£UN35 on the way. Still, we’ll all be tuned into see what he has on deck for Jeffrey.
