Sniper Gang’s Jackboy Drops New Album ‘Living In History’

Jackboy come through with his latest project, Living In History. The Sniper Gang rapper delivers a body of work with extreme pertinence to current societal issues. This includes the COVID-19 global pandemic, racial injustice and more. Living History is laced with 14 tracks of melodic cadence revealing pain, motivation and redemption. Jackboy flies solo for the majority of the project. He taps in with 4PF’s Rylo Rodridguez and Tee Grizzley for the only features on the album. Grizzley and Jackboy linked up for the release of the “Married To My Enemies” music video as well.

The Florida rapper continues to climb as an emerging star with the release of Living History. The album’s musical content and artwork speaks to his consciousness as well.

The powerful album art is a reflection of a history a burning history book. The pages are caricatures of police brutality, the coronavirus pandemic, a No. 24 jersey representing the loss of sports icon Kobe Bryant and more. Through all of this, the Haitian rapper remains ready to handle his business with a briefcase in hand. Although one of his legs are chained, he keeps moving forward as a Black man in this society.

In addition to the project, he released the visuals for his music video “The World Is Yours” as well.

Living In History comes after JACKBOY dropped back in April. Now the 23 years-old rapper is looking to build on the momentum and success of his self-titled project to solidify his arrival.
