As a part of the Utah Jazz’s Black Experience celebration of Black History Month, the team released its first narrative short film, Sunday Dinner. The film stars an all-Black cast and details the importance of the relationship between a Black father and son.
Written and directed by Donavan Myles Edwards, the film was created to depict a unique Black perspective, evoking a story of empathy and understanding. The story is also aimed to provide lessons to all audiences.
