Born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, the lyrical mastermind Demetrius Spady-McBride aka MeatSpady has become a global phenomenon in the rap game. His philanthropic milestones coupled with his timeless music and business acumen gained him a unified following and respect in the industry.

MeatSpady has built his status from the ground up, releasing the 2018 classic, “The Beautiful Letdown,” later following up with his recent project, “Perception.” Released in November 2021, the project dropped after lead single “Feely” featuring HazEL hyped fans for the return of one of Philly’s illest on the mic. With audiences raving for more, MeatSpady got to work on bringing his second single “DarkLight” featuring Chill Moody to life through a powerful video. The track, delving into deep concepts revolving around higher education, police brutality, injustice, and inequality, finds inspiration in the tragedy that struck the world with the loss of Trayvon Martin to the hands of George Zimmerman. Memorializing his legacy, MeatSpady shows his respect by readying the release of the tribute video on February 26th, 2022, at 10pm as a memento to the 10-year anniversary of his passing.
