We talked with MDRA and asked her what her inspirations were, and she said, “My biggest inspiration is my family and making them proud of the artist I’ve grown to be.” Growing up in Toronto can be challenging for aspiring artists. MDRA is betting on herself; she wishes to collaborate with Drake, Chart on Billboard, and win a few Grammys while she’s at it. She has managed to amass over 35k monthly listeners on Spotify, and her record “Intuition” has over 75k Streams in just a month. Since joining HOUSESONHILLS/Create Music Group, this is her first release and has proven to be well worth the partnership. MDRA’s team told us that they plan to roll out several records this year and scale MDRA to the top of the food chain in R&B. MDRA has so much ahead of her and won’t let anything or anyone get in her way. Her determination and will to win compliments her gorgeous voice, and her confidence speaks loud in every room. She is one of the Top Artists To Watch in 2022 and could be one of the biggest stars today in the blink of an eye.
