“Friday,” follows two slackers who owe a drug dealer $200 dollars by 10:00 p.m. on a Friday night. The movie also stars Regina King, Bernie Mac, Nia Long, DJ Pooh, and Meagan Good.

Just as successful as the movie, the “Friday” soundtrack peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 for two weeks in a row and went 2x platinum.
