State, CEO of State Agency LLC, is a Newport News, Virginia native who is making waves in the music industry. State refers to himself as an “extreme thinker” and a “play maker for artists and entrepreneurs.” He is a behind-the-scenes figure who doesn’t need recognition, but rather wants to reach and teach the masses with a dream. State’s journey began as a videographer, but has since expanded his services to include a wide range of offerings for artists and entrepreneurs.
State’s goals within the music industry are to reach and teach the masses with a dream and to show the best time and cost-effective methods of taking their vision to the next level. State is most proud of finally making it to a point in his career where success is guaranteed, after 7 years of consistent hard work and investment. His biggest musical inspiration is Bob Marley, who showed the power of music and the change it can create. Meanwhile, his biggest non-musical inspiration is Allen Iverson and Mike Vick, both from the same area and considered as “goats” in their respective fields.
