Ye Sets New Album ‘Bully’ for North West’s Birthday

We officially have a release date for Ye’s Bully. In an interview with Justin LaBoy, Ye revealed that the interview would launch on his daughter North’s birthday. North’s birthday was also Yeezus‘s release date.

“My oldest said to bring it out in June,” Ye said to LaBoy. “Didn’t Yeezus come out on your birthday? That’s when we’re gonna bring Bully out ’cause that’s her favorite album.”

North’s birthday is June 15, but Yeezus dropped on June 18. There’s a bit of lobbying to be done on the official date, but June will be the Ye return.

Ye has some good things to say about Drake. After the Grammys, Ye held an event that previewed the same interview between the Chicago icon and Justin LaBoy. The two spoke on The Boy, and Ye compared Drake to the resilience of Steph Curry.

Responding to LaBoy’s question of did Kendrick Lamar kill Drake, Ye said, “Yeah, for now.”

“You can’t ever count out Steph Curry,” he added. “That man might get 200 points in one song or something.”
