Quavo Hints At Collabo With Young Thug And Future After Sharing BTS Footage For “Trappa Rappa”

Quavo has been consistently dropping new music, and his latest tease suggests a major collaboration with Young Thug and Future could be on the horizon.

The former Migos member has been experimenting with different sounds over the past year, delivering unique tracks like “Tough”—his first-ever collaboration with Lana Del Rey, blending pop rap and country influences—and “Georgia Ways”, a Southern anthem featuring fellow Georgia artists Teddy Swims and Luke Bryan. While he’s explored new sonic territory, Quavo has also remained true to his roots, refining his signature trap sound.

Over the weekend, he took to social media to promote his latest track, “Trappa Rappa”, a hard-hitting return to classic trap rap. The track showcases Quavo’s signature meticulous flow over a spacey, woozy instrumental. But what really caught fans’ attention was the behind-the-scenes footage he shared, featuring Young Thug and Future—a possible hint at an upcoming collaboration.

His caption included two key emojis: a spider 🕷 and a wizard 🧙, each symbolizing the two rap superstars. The spider references Young Thug, possibly a callback to “Metro Spider” from HEROES & VILLAINS, while the wizard ties back to Future and his 2019 album Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD.

Though the video could simply be a way to boost interest in “Trappa Rappa”, it strongly suggests that a new Quavo, Future, and Young Thug collaboration is in the works. The timing would make sense—Thugger, now free, has been making waves with new music, while Future has been on an incredible run, dropping three projects and dominating the charts throughout 2024.

Quavo’s last album, Rocket Power, featured the underrated 2023 hit “Turn Yo Clic Up” with Future, making another link-up between them a natural progression. While no new album has been announced, Quavo has been steadily releasing material, making it an ideal time for a full-length project.

Whether this teaser leads to a new Quavo, Future, and Young Thug record remains to be seen, but fans are already anticipating what could be one of the biggest trap collaborations of the year.
