Shaq and Iverson Lead Reebok’s Bold Comeback in Netflix’s New Series ‘Power Moves’

This is interesting. Shaquille O’Neal’s media company, Jersey Legends, is bringing a fresh perspective to the sneaker industry with the release of Power Moves. This six-part documentary series traces the rebirth of Reebok. Set to premiere globally on Netflix on June 4, the series highlights how O’Neal and fellow basketball icon Allen Iverson are breathing new life into the brand.

Get this: Power Moves provides a behind-the-scenes look at O’Neal’s newest venture: taking on the role of President of Reebok Basketball. Alongside Iverson, who serves as Vice President, O’Neal spearheads efforts to bring the iconic brand back to the forefront of athletic wear. The documentary was filmed at Reebok’s headquarters in Boston and in various locations around the U.S., capturing the energy and strategy behind the company’s cultural transformation.

What’s more, the series also spotlights key milestones, including the signing of WNBA star Angel Reese to Reebok’s first NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deal since O’Neal took the helm. This move marks a new direction for the brand, focusing on supporting rising athletes and investing in grassroots community programs.

NBA icon, O’Neal explained the deeper meaning behind the project, stating, “Power Moves isn’t just about sneakers or titles. It’s about showing the work behind building something meaningful. This series shows the strategy, setbacks, and wins of what it really takes to lead a brand you love.” He added, “Reebok gave me my start, and now I get to help write its next chapter.”
