New leaked audio has surfaced featuring Young Thug sounding off on Kendrick Lamar after being denied a feature request. The clips, which follow a string of recently released call recordings tied to Thug, reveal his frustrations with several industry peers.
In the latest recording, Thug takes aim at Lamar for declining to appear on his 2023 album Business Is Business. “These n****s too big, like ‘I ain’t doing no features,’ why?” Thug said. “Why wouldn’t you wanna do a feature for a superstar? Put somebody on! It’s okay to run your few hundred M’s up, but who’d you help, though?”
The Atlanta rapper doubled down by invoking Drake’s name, suggesting Lamar’s reluctance to collaborate is what keeps him from reaching Drake’s level of global dominance. “That’s why these n****s will never be bigger than Drake, EVER in life,” Thug added.
The leaked audio also included remarks about other rappers. Thug alleged that the East Coast doesn’t fully support Lamar and argued that features with artists like Lil Durk, Lil Baby, or himself could strengthen Kendrick’s mainstream appeal. He even mocked Lamar’s minimal social media use, suggesting he should delete his accounts altogether if he wants to prove he’s disconnected from the internet.
At one point, Thug also dissed Baby Keem, dismissing him as “bulls*** a** Keem,” a jab unlikely to mend fences with Lamar’s camp anytime soon.
These comments arrive alongside a series of other controversial leaked calls in which Thug criticized Migos, questioned Gunna’s streaming numbers, and claimed Gucci Mane became “soft” after his release from prison.
Amid all the drama, Thug has hinted at a major announcement for his long-rumored project Uy Scuti. While no official details have been confirmed, fans are hopeful the rapper can shift the conversation back to his music.
