The newest QC signee, OG Maco seems like he blew up overnight based off of his smash hit “U Guessed It” which got a lot of social media attention. Contrary to popular belief,  he has been creating music with OGG and developing as an artist prior to the release of this track.  Maco, along with the rest of the OGG crew have been out in Atlanta throwing parties, booking shows, putting out mixtapes and collaborating with some of your favorite artists and producers. As a matter of fact, they have been working a 20 minute short film entitled “Days in the Life of OGG: The Culture” which will give fans a full understanding of the dynamics of OGG and their overall movement that will be releasing soon.

Last week, OG Maco brought that raw ATL energy to NYC for his debut performance at Westway– the crowd loved it.  He performed tracks from his previous mixtape entitled Live Life and an unreleased song from one of his upcoming projects.   I got an opportunity to sit down with Maco and discuss the success of “U Guessed It”, his time at Trillectro, the vision of the creative collective OGG and much more!  Behind his crazy ad-libs, 4 million Youtube views, countless vines created by fans, and recent Drake co-sign for “Best All Around Turn Up” for the Hood Grammys,  is an individual who is prepared to show the world his full creative capabilities. Be on the lookout for his project with Cardo entitled Live Life 2 and his self-titled project, OG Maco dropping this month. Check out this interview to get some cool insight from the OG himself.
