“Can’t wait to unveil the Pinkprint cover”
That’s the line Nicki Minaj used to close out her verse on Wiz Khalifa‘s “True Colors,” and last night, Nicki finally unveiled half of the artwork for her album packaging. Though we’re still awaiting the standard artwork–which is expected to be revealed at some point today–Nicki posted The Pinkprint’s deluxe artwork, designed by Kanye West‘s design team DONDA, to her Instagram last night. The artwork is simple, much like most of DONDA’s work (see: any 2 Chainz album packaging), and the cover depicts a pink fingerprint embedded in what appears to be a gravelly paint concoction of the same color.
We’ll know by the end of today what the standard edition will look like, and the album hits in about 6 weeks, on December 15th. Check out a larger version of the artwork below.
