Do you suffer from “Resting Kanye Face”?
According to a Goodwill employee newsletter, those who do may not be seen by others as unapproachable. Kanye West not approachable? Blasphemy.
The Goodwill is using Kanye’s resting face in a newsletter ironically entitled “Good Beat” as an example of how their employees should not look while at work.
According to TMZ: “The bosses make it clear … Kanye’s zombie face is not the way to do business. When you’re happy, show it. When you’re concerned, adjust your face accordingly. Translation … Kanye’s ‘one size fits all’ look is inappropriate and ineffective”
Thankfully the newsletter does offer employees a few solutions, stating “there is hope” and “anyone can become more approachable” with their list of suggestions including smiling:

making eye contact…
and approaching others.
Although it’s safe to say Yeezy is most likely laughing (on the inside) about this, reports reveal several of the Illinois Goodwill employees happen to be Kanye fans who’ve expressed both anger and offense after seeing the rapper portrayed in such a light. Goodwill has since been under a barrage of attacks via social media from fans who share the same sentiment.
