In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth, Daye Jack finally dropped the visuals to his stirring “Hands Up” single, featuring an artist who’s been very forthcoming with political views of his own, Killer Mike. Jack and the avid Bernie Sanders supporter joined forces last year in light of the rampant police brutality plaguing America for the song, and Jack’s put together a powerful mosaic to accompany his lyrics, making for a thought-provoking first day of February.
As the video’s director, David Gallardo, explained, “It brought people together from all walks of life in solidarity about something that should not be tolerated.” Watch the clip above.
