Clippers point guard Chris Paul is currently searching for a man who has threatened to kill his wife Jada on social media.
A March 14th tweet addressed to Paul read, “@CP3 if I knew where you lived I’d probably kill your wife and frame you for it. I watch Dateline I get away with it.” Clippers security noticed the tweet and enlisted the help of the LAPD. An investigation was launched, but no arrests have been made.
This is not a terribly new experience for Chris Paul, as last year he contacted police about an Instagram user who was harassing him and his wife for over a year. Paul claims the man never threatened physical violence, but consistently posted “annoying comments” on the family’s photos.
Paul has used one example from 2014 where the man called Jada “Jay Leno chin.” The investigation is ongoing.
