Lil Uzi Vert’s journey from Luv is Rage to Lil Vert Vs. The World was one of quick growth. He gained a lot of recognition from Luv is Rage, but his follow up project took him to new heights. The 21 year-old Philly rapper doesn’t want to just stop there, he says he’s bringing us a new project very soon—”sooner than you think.”

A couple of weeks ago, Lil Uzi took to his Twitter to preview a new song. The title of the song has yet to be revealed, but we can hear the infectious production from Maaly Raw, who is Uzi’s go-to producer. “Boy I started on the bottom, made my way to the top. Boy I’m gon’ keep winning, no I cannot stop,” the chorus sings out on the song. The Generation Now signee posted a picture on his Instagram last night, stating that the new tape is “coming sooner than you think.”

Uzi has been traveling all over the U.S. to perform at various venues and festivals. In between that time, he’s likely been recording music. DJ Drama and DJ Don Cannon have really taken a backseat on Lil Uzi’s path to success. It’s worked, as Uzi’s fanbase continues to reach higher numbers daily.

“Money Longer” sits on Lil Uzi’s Soundcloud with a little under 41 million plays, being the most played song on his page. With his new project, it will be interesting to find out if there will be a song that can give us the feeling that “Money Longer” gave us, or maybe better.
